Eligibility Criteria – Two Separate Routes
For civilians: You need an MA, MSc or MS degree in any Social Sciences subject, plus an M.Ed. You must also have at least 15 years of teaching and administration experience at college, secondary or primary school level. The M.Ed is compulsory for civilian applicants and cannot be skipped.
For retired armed forces officers: You need an MA, MSc or MS degree in any Social Sciences subject and a minimum of 15 years of commissioned service, preferably from the Education Branch. The M.Ed requirement applies to civilians, not to retired officers.
For both routes, the maximum age is 50 years and you must be medically fit. You also need excellent communication, administrative and managerial skills, and a No Objection Certificate from your previous institution if you are currently employed.
