CCP Engineering Jobs 2026 – MEP Engineer, Project Engineer (Civil) & Quantity Surveyor, Islamabad

Competition Commission of Pakistan

The Competition Commission of Pakistan is building its own office in the G-10/4 Mauve Area of Islamabad, and it needs experienced engineers to see that project through. Three project-based posts have been announced: one MEP Engineer, one Project Engineer (Civil) and one Quantity Surveyor. These are senior, well-paid contract roles for professionals who have already spent years on building and infrastructure projects.

This is a separate notice from the Commission’s other October round for legal, finance and support staff, which niams.pk has already covered. If you are an engineer or quantity surveyor, this is the notice meant for you. Applications close on 9 November 2026, and the Commission accepts online applications only, so do not wait for the last day.

Eligibility Criteria for CCP Engineering Posts

MEP Engineer (PPS-9): A BSc degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission, plus registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council. The role covers mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, so applicants need proven experience in design review, procurement and tendering support, stage-wise installation and testing, and commissioning of electrical, plumbing, firefighting and fire-alarm systems, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), and lift systems.

Project Engineer (Civil) (PPS-8): A BSc degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized university, plus PEC registration. Applicants need experience in building or infrastructure project management, including project planning and coordination, technical review, quality assurance and quality control, project oversight, contract administration under FIDIC conditions, and the execution of multi-package civil, electrical and mechanical projects.

Quantity Surveyor (PPS-7): A Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) in Civil Technology or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board. Applicants need hands-on experience in quantity surveying, construction measurement, billing and cost control on building and infrastructure projects.

For all three posts, qualifications must come from recognized institutions, degrees must be verifiable by HEC where applicable, and engineering registrations must satisfy PEC requirements. Candidates must not cross the stated maximum age on the closing date. Government employees must route their applications through the proper channel and attach a No Objection Certificate.

What the Work Involves

All three posts support the same goal: the planning, technical review, contract administration, quality assurance, monitoring and completion of the Commission’s building and infrastructure project. The MEP Engineer looks after the building’s mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems from design review through commissioning. The Project Engineer (Civil) coordinates the overall construction effort, checks technical submissions, manages quality and administers contracts. The Quantity Surveyor measures work, prepares bills and keeps costs under control. Together, the three roles form the core site team for a federal office building, which is exactly the kind of project experience that strengthens a senior engineer’s profile.

Salary, Contract Terms and Benefits

The headline attraction here is the pay. Even the junior-most of the three posts, Quantity Surveyor at PPS-7, carries a package above Rs 200,000 a month, while the MEP Engineer post pays close to Rs 390,000 a month. These are project-based appointments, and the contract terms for project staff recruited for development projects follow the applicable Finance Division instructions. Candidates should read the detailed terms of reference on the Commission’s website before applying, since the notice reserves the Commission’s right to accept or reject any application and to cancel or postpone the process.

Beyond the salary, the role offers exposure to a high-profile public-sector construction project in Islamabad, work with FIDIC-based contracts, and the professional standing that comes with a federal commission appointment. No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview, which is standard for such posts.
