Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited (KSEW)
Karachi Shipyard Jobs 2026 — 13 Engineering and Technical Posts, Apply by 9 November
Last date to apply: 9 November 2026. Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited (KSEW) has opened applications for 13 engineering and technical posts at its Karachi yard. The biggest share goes to welding supervision, with 10 Supervisor (Welding) seats, alongside one senior planning manager, one electrician and one plasma machine operator.
One caution before you apply: while most current listings show 9 November 2026 as the closing date, one listing prints 8 November 2026. The safest course is to treat 8 November 2026 as your personal deadline and submit well before it.
KSEW is Pakistan’s principal shipbuilding and heavy engineering yard, working from its West Wharf dockyard in Karachi. These 13 seats are a fresh round: they are different from the earlier KSEW advertisement that closed on 2 November 2026 with 9 posts, so do not confuse the two rounds when you apply.

Why Apply for KSEW
Shipyard work is specialised, and that specialisation is what makes it valuable. A few years inside Pakistan’s main shipyard gives a mechanical engineer, welding supervisor or electrician hands-on experience with marine fabrication and heavy steelwork that few other employers in the country can offer. If your trade matches one of these four posts, apply by 8 November to be safe.
