Eligibility and Quota Rules

Only candidates holding a Balochistan domicile or local certificate can apply, because this is a special-case recruitment for Balochistan residents. Recruitment will take place at the doorstep — at district level — with the help of newly established employment cells in Balochistan districts, and walk-in interviews will be held in major districts on dates announced later. The final upper age limit is 35 years, applying the special-exercise relaxation (five years instead of three, in addition to five years of general relaxation). The reserved quotas are 10% for women, 5% for minorities and 2% for disabled persons; disabled candidates must submit a disability registration certificate from the federal or provincial government.

Why a KPT Post Is Worth Applying For

KPT is one of Pakistan’s oldest and largest federal port organizations, and its workforce covers everything from ships and workshops to hospitals and schools. That range is exactly what this advertisement shows: a seaman, a nurse, a teacher, a clerk and a fitter can all find a post in the same round. Pay and allowances follow KPT rules, and the two-year contract can be extended. For candidates from Balochistan, the doorstep recruitment design removes the usual Karachi-travel barrier at the interview stage — you apply online and appear for the walk-in interview in your own province, while the duty station itself is Karachi.

How to Apply

  • Open the National Job Portal at njp.gov.pk and use the dedicated link created for this KPT recruitment exercise.
  • Submit your application online on or before 25 November 2026.
  • When the walk-in interview dates are announced, appear at the designated location in your district with all original documents, one set of attested photocopies, and four recent passport-size photographs.
  • Government servants must apply through the proper channel and produce an NOC.
  • No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the test or interview, and KPT can cancel the process for any post at any stage.
  • For questions, contact the Manager (Human Resource), KPT, on 021-99214337 or 021-99214530-40 (Ext: 2388).
