Unilever Assistant Key Account Manager Digital Commerce Jobs 2026 in Karachi, Apply by 14 November

Unilever Pakistan

Unilever Pakistan is hiring an Assistant Key Account Manager for its Digital Commerce business at the Karachi Head Office. This is a full-time role in the Customer Development function, the team that manages the company’s sales, distributors and key accounts across Pakistan. The closing date is very near, so candidates who meet the experience bar should apply on the official Unilever careers portal without delay.

Digital commerce is one of the fastest growing sales channels for everyday consumer goods in Pakistan. More shoppers now buy groceries, personal care and home care products through online stores and apps, and brands need people who can run those online accounts like a proper business. This role sits at the centre of that work: the person hired will own the online channel’s business plan, work with e-tailers and aggregators, and turn sales data into growth.

Last date to apply: 14 November 2026. Apply early — the portal listing may close before the date shown here.

What the Role Involves

The Assistant Key Account Manager owns the end-to-end profit and loss of the business-to-consumer (B2C) digital channel. That means the person is responsible for the sales targets of the online channel, and for the trade terms, brand investment and margins that sit behind those sales. It is a role with real ownership, not a support desk job.

Day-to-day work includes building brand-wise, business-group-wise and e-tailer-wise strategies for steady growth, and then carrying those plans out with the online retailers. The manager builds strong working relationships with e-tailers, negotiates joint business plans with them, and keeps those plans on track through the year. The role also covers daily operations and strategic partnerships with e-commerce aggregators and distributors, so orders, listings and promotions run smoothly.

Another key task is to introduce and run a flagship digital perfect store programme. In simple words, this means making sure Unilever brands look their best on online shelves: the right products listed, clear images and descriptions, fair prices, and strong visibility when a shopper searches. The manager studies channel data to find growth chances and fix gaps, and reports progress and plans to senior management with clear financial insight.

Eligibility Criteria for Unilever AKAM Digital Commerce Jobs 2026

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. A business background is helpful but the advertisement does not restrict the degree subject.
  • Experience: At least 4 years of experience in Customer Development in the FMCG industry, preferably in sales or key account management, with experience of working in cross-functional teams.
  • Skills: A strategic and adaptable mindset, strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills, financial understanding, and analytical ability.
  • Location: The role is based at the Karachi Head Office. Candidates should be ready to work from Karachi and to travel for account meetings when needed.
  • Gender: Not specified in the advertisement. Unilever states that it is committed to equity, inclusion and diversity.

About Unilever Pakistan

Unilever is one of the world’s leading consumer goods companies. Its products are used by about 3.4 billion people every day in more than 190 countries. In Pakistan, the company sells well-known food, home care and personal care brands, and its Customer Development teams work with distributors, retailers and e-commerce partners to get those brands onto shelves and into shopping baskets.

For a sales professional, a role like this offers a clear career path inside a multinational company: structured learning, exposure to brand, customer marketing and finance teams, and experience of the online channel, which is becoming more important every year. The company describes its working environment as collaborative, inclusive and flexible, and encourages every person to bring their whole self to work.

Why This Role Suits Experienced FMCG Sales People

This post is aimed at people who already know FMCG sales from the inside. Four years in Customer Development means the successful candidate will already understand distributors, trade terms, joint business plans and the pace of a monthly sales cycle. The digital commerce angle adds something new: instead of physical shelves, the work is about online listings, search visibility, e-tailer negotiations and data-led decisions.

Candidates who have handled key accounts, managed a distributor network, or worked on e-commerce or modern trade accounts will find the work familiar. Those who can read a sales report, spot why a brand is losing share on one platform, and fix it with a clear plan will stand out. Strong English and clear written communication also matter, because the role involves regular reporting to management and joint planning with outside partners.
